The 122nd Annual Congress of Japan Surgical Society (JSS2022) has been informed as a scheduled in-person at the venue followed by On-Demand streaming post congress thus far, but with another global spread of COVID variants so fast and vast, the executive committee now has modified the format as follows:

"The only Advanced Sessions allow presentation and participation in person at the venue while all other General Sessions will be held Online only and both sessions are followed by On-Demand archive streaming post congress. Considering the current international travel restrictions and red tapes associated with, we encourage all internationals from abroad including those in the Advanced Sessions, to attend the congress Online.
   General Sessions: Surgical Forum and Digital Poster
   The rest are in Advanced Sessions.
